Kitchen Wizards
Kids in the Kitchen is an online cooking class for kids ages 8-12. Kids can learn basic kitchen skills to increase their confidence in the kitchen and create fun recipes to share with the entire family. Once registered, you will be provided with a list of supplies and ingredients for each session. See choices below:

June 28-July 1 – 12-2 PM – LITTLE BITES FOR HUNGRY TYKES –AGES 5-8 – Who doesn’t like snacks? In this camp, featuring snack-y foods, perfect for play dates or after-school, our littlest chefs in-training will learn some tasty sweet and savory recipes and gain confidence working in the kitchen.
June 28-July 1 – 2:30-4:30 PM - EAT LIKE A PRESIDENT - AGES 9-12 - If your young chef is a US History aficionado (or if you'd like him/her to be more interested in Social Studies), this is a perfect summer solution! Kitchen Wizards will guide the kids through preparing foods that were favorites of past US Presidents - and they'll also learn some fun facts about our country's forefathers from BOTH sides of the aisle. POLITICS will NOT be on the menu, but encouraging children to take an interest in presidential history and the election process will be. Children will VOTE for their favorite President, based on the food that was that leader’s favorite!
July 5-8 – 12-2 PM - SWEETS FOR SWEETIES –AGES 5-8 - Kids often begin culinary adventures with making "sweets". Kitchen Wizards will help them feel more confident working in the kitchen, and children will be proud to share their creations with the family.
July 5-8 – 2:30-4:30 PM - CELEBRATE AMERICA - AGES 9-13 - Learn to prepare food from various parts of the US – including Southern Cookin’, Philly Phoods, California Cuisine, and Tex-Mex.
July 12-15 – 12-2 PM -AG GIRL COOKING - AGES 6-11 - Children will learn what foods their favorite historical character dolls would've eaten if they'd been REAL little girls in that era.
July 12-15 – 2:30-4:30 PM - COOKIES FROM AROUND THE WORLD - AGES 9-13 - "Travel" the globe as children learn what kinds of cookies kids in other countries enjoy.

July 19-22 – 2:30-4:30 PM - COOKING AROUND THE WORLD – AGES 9-13 – Children will “visit” France, Mexico, Italy, and Greece through foods that are specialties of each of those countries.
July 26-29 – 12-2 PM – COOKING AROUND THE CLOCK –AGES 7-11 – Young chefs will become competent making a different menu each day – breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. Gaining confidence working in the kitchen will help them learn an important life skill.
July 26-29 – 2:30-4:30 PM CHOCOLATE, CHOCOLATE, AND MORE CHOCOLATE! – AGES 8-12 – In this camp, kids will learn to prepare all sorts of sweet treats – all of them chocolate! They’ll love making “from scratch” pudding, cupcakes, candies, cookies, and other chocolate-y desserts.
