Youth Mountain Bike Team

The Phoenixville "Inferno" MTB Team, is a National Interscholastic Cycling League (NICA) sanctioned Youth Mountain Bike Club, welcoming Student-Athletes entering 6th-12th Grade. Students whose families reside within the Phoenixville Area and the Methacton Area School Districts are eligible to participate on our team. A student does not need to attend the schools, just live within the two Districts. (Parents can double check their team affiliation based on geography by visiting PAmtb.org under "Find A Team")

Students do not need to have mountain bike experience to join the team. Our experienced coaches are Licensed and Certified.

Season runs from July-October with practices twice a week from 5:30 -7:30 pm., and one day on the weekend: 9:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.

Weekday practices will occur at Reservoir Park in Phoenixville early in the season, and evolving to include additional practice sites near Betzwood Park as the season continues.

*Weekend practices are held at a variety of parks such as Marsh Creek, Brandywine, Middle Run/White Clay, Fairhill, Evansburg, Nockamixon, and Trexler.

Starting in September, PICL will host at least five mountain bike races across the states. Races are not mandatory. BUT THEY ARE FUN!
