PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Phoenixville Borough Council has received a Conditional Use Application (the “Application”) from CLINTON WEILER, 370 Washington Avenue, Phoenixville, Pennsylvania 19460 (the “Applicant”). The Application concerns a tract of land consisting of 7,717 square feet, more or less, located at 119 S. Main Street, Phoenixville Borough, Chester County, Pennsylvania, and further identified as Chester County UPI No. 15-9-433 (the “Tract”). The Tract is zoned “TC” Town Center District. South Main Properties LLC is the owner of the Tract. If approved as a conditional use by the Phoenixville Borough Council, the Applicant proposes to use the approximately 4,200 square foot basement of the preexisting building as an Entertainment Hall, featuring arcade games, machines, a pool table, and console gaming. Pursuant to Section 27-301.2.A.(1) of the Phoenixville Borough Zoning Ordinance, an “Entertainment Hall” use is permitted in the TC District upon conditional use approval.

Phoenixville Borough Council will hold a public hearing on this Application on December 13, 2022 at 7:00 P.M at its regular monthly meeting. Public participation at this meeting may occur through remote connections, via computer, tablet, smartphone or phone in supplement to in-person. Telecommunication participation will allow any member of the public to indicate they would like to speak and offer comment during the public comment portion of the meetings. The Application concerns a tract of land consisting of 7.03 acres, more or less, located at 1000 Schuylkill/Nutt Road, Phoenixville Borough, Chester County, Pennsylvania, which is owned by Nutt Road, LP, and further identified as Chester County UPI No. 15-7-17.1 (the “Tract”). The Tract is zoned “CD” Corridor Development District.  If approved as a conditional use by the Phoenixville Borough Council, the Applicant proposes to add a 110’ automated car wash tunnel to the Tract, in addition to the existing self-storage facility and a proposed restaurant use.  Pursuant to Section 27-301.2.A.(1) of the Phoenixville Borough Zoning Ordinance, an “Automobile sales and services” use is permitted in the CD District upon conditional use approval.

An Ordinance Levying for the 2023 Fiscal Year, Real Estate Taxes for General Purposes, Fire Protection and Public Parks and Recreation.

LEGAL NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that beginning on Monday, November 15, 2021, the 2022 Draft Budget for the Borough of Phoenixville is available for public inspection at Borough Hall.  The 2022 Draft Budget is also available for review on the Borough’s website at:  www.phoenixville.org.

Borough Council will consider adoption of the 2022 Budget at its public meeting scheduled for Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at 7:00 pm prevailing local time.

In accordance with recent CDC guidance, the Borough requires all members of the public to be masked when entering our building. All visitors and staff, regardless of vaccination status must wear a mask while inside Borough Hall, the Police Station, and the third floor Council Chambers.

Although the building is open to the public, we encourage public participation to continue through remote connections, via computer, tablet, smartphone or phone.  This will allow any member of the public to indicate they would like to speak and offer comment during the public comment portion of the meeting.
