  2. "We Are" Vigil

November 19, 2020, 7:00 PM - 7:30 PM @ Main and Bridge Street Intersection, Phoenixville

To follow up on the wonderful march in support of Black Lives Matter which was organized by Phoenixville High School students on June 5, twice monthly vigils are currently being presented by supporting groups in the community. On First Thursdays the vigil is presented virtually from 7-7:30 PM by Zoom. On Third Thursdays the vigil is presented live at the intersection of Main and Bridge from 7-7:30. The intent of these monthly vigils is to sustain a peaceful public presence in solidarity with Black Lives Matter. Wearing a mask is required and social distancing must be observed at live vigils. Carry or wear signs in support of Black Lives Matter, if you are able. Parking: In addition to the Phoenixville Borough parking lots, alternative parking is available for a donation in the First Presbyterian Church lot at 145 Main Street, or at the Phoenixville Senior Center at 153 Church Street. Signs in each lot will explain how to make a donation.
