At this time, all public participation will be done virtually via Zoom. Only board and committee members will meet in person.

 

Development 

In recent months, the Department has sought to increase awareness and understanding of the wide variety of private and public development projects within the Borough. The website has been updated to provide up to date summaries, drawings and when available, renderings of the projects. New Projects Under Review, Approved, and Borough Capital Projects are all highlighted and updated as they progress through the specified Planning Process. Construction on our new Recreation Center is moving along! This new building is expected to open in early 2022! 

Site preparations are beginning for the new Fire House on Paradise Street. We are excited to begin construction soon!

 

Recreation News

Reservoir Disc Golf 

Come out and play the new 18-hole disc golf course located at Reservoir Park.  Thanks to all the volunteers that made this project possible.  Special thanks to Todd Palmer and Virtual Farm Creative.




Soccer Shots 

Soccer Shots is an engaging children's soccer program with a focus on character development for ages 2-8. The program consists of fun drills and games designed to teach skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting defending and positioning.  

Location: Morris St. Park

Youth Crossfit

Come join us for some socially distanced, outdoor CrossFit workouts on Saturday mornings at Reeve's park!  The workouts can be modified to any ability so all are welcome.  Show up with a cold drink and ready to put in some work!

Yoga for Teens

All levels yoga class for youth ages 13-18.  Bring your own mat to practice mindfulness and relaxation.

COST: $50 for the 6-week session/$10 drop in 

 

Mixed Media Art Classes for ages 5-14

We believe everyone can, and should learn how to draw, and we want to give everyone an opportunity to find their inner artist. Join us for a series of classes where we will discuss different drawing and coloring techniques and coloring media. Spots are limited- register today!
