Attention residents! PA Department of Agriculture will be canvassing Chester County at random to see if our furry friends are licensed and up to date on their rabies vaccines. These canvasses will take place next week - April 22nd - 26th.
If our area is selected, PA Department of Agriculture officers will be knocking on doors. They will be in full uniform and will be identifying themselves. They will also be driving State trucks with "State Dog Warden" indicated somewhere on the vehicle.
In the event that no one is home when the canvassing takes place, they will leave an informational brochure. You only have to show proof of licensing if you are spoken to directly.
