Municipal Service Certifications

A Municipal Services Certification is necessary when buying or selling a property in the Borough. 

Please note: The Municipal Services Certification shall be submitted and payment received at least (7) seven days previous to the settlement date in order for the data to be compiled and certificate produced.

In addition to the certification a Property Transfer Permit (PTP) is required to be issued prior to occupying the premises. After processing, the applicant will be contacted by the Codes Department to schedule a PTP Inspection before settlement occurs. If the property is to be a rental after the Property Transfer Permit is granted, please note that an additional rental registration must be completed.
