On Wednesday, April 29th Council held an emergency Council meeting to vote to extend the discount period for 2020 taxes until June 30, 2020.
The original deadline was set to be today, April 30th, and will now be June 30th. After June 30th, it will be face value for the rest of the year, Borough Council waives any fee or penalty otherwise associated with the late payment of the real estate tax if the real estate tax is paid in full by December 31, 2020.
